Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, shared insights into her demanding work schedule, revealing that she works from 9 AM to midnight. During an informal chat with journalists in Lahore, she addressed recent concerns regarding the appointment of vice-chancellors in Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz clarified that while the Governor had the option to reject these appointments, he chose not to, expressing a desire to appoint his own candidates. She emphasized that the issue primarily pertains to Punjab University but assured that all appointments were made transparently and on merit.

“I receive many recommendations from MNAs and MPAs, but I don’t listen to any of them. I am ensuring that everything is done on merit,” she stated, reaffirming her commitment to maintaining fairness in administrative decisions.
