The Cabinet Division has released the comprehensive schedule encompassing all public and optional holidays designated for observance throughout Pakistan in the upcoming year, 2024.
As per the official notification issued recently, the calendar includes a total of 11 public holidays, with the first falling on 5th February to commemorate Kashmir Day. Furthermore, the government has earmarked 3 bank holidays and outlined 22 optional holidays for the year ahead. However, dates for Muslim festivals are tentative, subject to the appearance of the moon, with the Cabinet Division set to issue separate notifications when required.
