On Thursday, the price of gold in Pakistan remained steady at Rs. 221,000 per tola, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA). The price for 24-carat gold remained unchanged, with 10 grams priced at Rs. 189,472.

During the week, Wednesday witnessed the precious metal’s price increasing for the third consecutive day. The price had risen by Rs. 1,100 per tola on Monday and Rs. 800 on Tuesday. In total, the price of gold has seen an increase of Rs. 4,500 throughout the week so far.
In the international market, spot gold experienced a 0.2 percent decline to $2,041.19 per ounce by 0927 GMT. Simultaneously, US gold futures for December delivery decreased by 0.3 percent to $2,041.70. Overall, gold recorded a 2.8 percent rise in November, following a 7.3 percent increase in October.
