The Vanguard Institute of Medical and Sciences in Islamabad has been closed down following allegations of distributing counterfeit degrees to paramedical staff. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has confirmed the closure and initiated legal action against both the management and employees involved in the fraudulent operation.
A crackdown is currently underway, with intensified raids aimed at apprehending those responsible for the distribution of fake degrees. The FIA spokesperson revealed that the investigation uncovered a troubling collaboration between the college administration and the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council, resulting in the issuance of counterfeit degrees.

Disturbingly, a significant number of nurses were found working in hospitals across the region with these fraudulent college credentials. The report exposes additional unsettling details, including the recovery of a counterfeit Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) allegedly linked to PIMS Hospital.
Furthermore, the faculty list provided by the college administration has been exposed as fabricated, raising concerns about the integrity of the educational institution.
