KOHAT: Two police officers were killed in a terrorist attack in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) district of Kohat on Monday.
The incident occurred in Kohat’s Tapi neighbourhood, where unidentified assailants targeted officials on their way to perform ‘Taraweeh’ duty.
The authorities identified the martyred officials as constables Qasim and Ayaz, whose bodies had been transferred to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Upon learning of the incident, a large contingent of police officers arrived on the scene and collected evidence for further investigation. A search operation was also launched to find the perpetrators of the attack.
