The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has issued a notification announcing new timings for all educational institutions under its jurisdiction, effective May 20, 2024, until further notice.
For single-shift institutions, the schedule will be as follows:
– Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 1:00 pm
– Friday: 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
For double-shift institutions, the morning shift will operate as follows:
– Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
– Friday: 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
The evening shift for double-shift institutions will be:
– Monday to Thursday: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
– Friday: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
For Pre-I (Montessori / Prep) classes, the timing will be:
– Monday to Friday: 7:30 am to 11:30 am
Ex-FG Colleges will follow this schedule:
– Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 1:00 pm, and potentially extending to 4:00 pm
– Friday: 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
This decision was made in response to the anticipated heatwave in the upcoming week.
