Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel conducted a significant operation at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport, where they intercepted a passenger named Habib and seized ice heroin valued at Rs150 million from his possession.
The drugs, totaling 748 grams, were concealed in his shoes. ASF spokesperson confirmed the successful interception and recovery, thwarting the smuggling attempt.

Bacha Khan International Airport, situated approximately 180 km from Islamabad, is easily accessible via the modern M-1 motorway, reducing travel time to about two hours from the capital.
Its history dates back to 1927 when it served as a small airfield catering to the British Empire and aircraft heading eastward.
