First hand-stitched Holy Qur’an produced by a Pakistani woman in 32 years

An accomplished Pakistani woman named Naseem Akhtar spent 32 years creating the world’s first hand-stitched Qur’an.

The cotton-based, hand-stitched Qur’an weighs 60 kilograms. Naseem created a beautiful sight by embroidering gold. Each chapter of the Qur’an has a silk border that matches the border on the book’s cover.
