Web Series to Explore Lawrence Bishnoi’s Criminal Life

Johnny Firefox Film Production House has announced a new web series based on the life of notorious Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who gained widespread notoriety for issuing death threats to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The series, titled Lawrence: A Gangster Story, aims to delve into Bishnoi’s evolution from an ordinary youth to a feared criminal figure in India.

The series will focus on Bishnoi’s criminal activities, including his alleged involvement in high-profile murders, offering viewers an in-depth look into his life. Amit Jani, the head of the production house, has a history of creating projects grounded in real events. He shared that the intention is to present a gripping and realistic portrayal of Bishnoi’s journey, making the narrative both dramatic and authentic.

The Indian Motion Pictures Association has reportedly approved the series title, setting the stage for a detailed depiction of one of India’s most talked-about underworld figures. However, the release date remains under wraps as the production gears up for filming.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s security has been intensified after new death threats were received. The Mumbai Police have reported that the threats, demanding ₹5 crore (approximately $600,000) from Khan, were sent via WhatsApp by an associate of Bishnoi’s gang, warning of dire consequences if the demands were not met. This development comes shortly after the murder of Baba Siddique in Mumbai, with four suspects already arrested in connection to the incident.
