At Least 10 Injured in Gunmen Attack on Passenger Bus in Bannu

A passenger coach traveling from Islamabad to Bannu came under attack by robbers near Dara Tang early this morning. The incident occurred around 3 AM when armed men attempted to stop the coach. When the driver refused to comply, the assailants opened fire, injuring ten passengers. The injured were taken to a local hospital in Lakki Marwat, and police have launched an investigation into the attack.

This is the second such incident in recent weeks. Earlier this month, armed robbers opened fire on a passenger coach traveling on the Indus Highway near Naper Kot, resulting in the death of one passenger and injuries to three others. The attack prompted passengers to protest on the highway, causing traffic disruptions, while the assailants fled.

In a separate tragic incident on October 10, a traffic accident on the M-9 Motorway near Bolari claimed the lives of three people. The accident occurred when a car traveling from Hyderabad to Karachi lost control after a tire blowout, crashing into a barrier and catching fire. Two women and a man inside the vehicle were burned to death. Authorities confirmed the deaths after emergency services responded to the scene.
