A domestic worker in Karachi’s Defense area has reportedly stolen valuable items from her employer’s home, including cash, foreign currency, and jewelry, amounting to approximately Rs 13 million. According to police reports, the female worker, who had been employed for only 20 days, absconded with Rs 2 million, $10,000, and 32 tolas of gold.
The employer noted that the worker had provided false identification during the hiring process. In response to the theft, the police have initiated an investigation and have secured footage of the worker’s escape. Authorities are taking the necessary steps to apprehend the fugitive and recover the stolen valuables.
