Veteran Pakistani actor Firdous Jamal, known for classics like Waris and Pyare Afzal, recently opened up about his decision to live in isolation after recovering from cancer. In an interview with YouTuber Ambreen Fatima, Jamal revealed he chose to distance himself from his family post-recovery, aiming to spare them from any further distress.

Jamal emphasized that his children are now independent, stating, “They are doing well on their own.” He added that his family seems more peaceful without him, as he has always valued solitude.
The actor also touched upon his ongoing ban from Hum TV after past controversial statements, expressing faith in divine providence, “Allah provides Rizq, not any person or channel.”
He reaffirmed his previous opinions on the acting industry, standing firm on his statements despite differing views from his children.
