An Israeli strike on a residential building in Beit Lahiya, Gaza, has resulted in at least 93 Palestinian fatalities and numerous injuries, according to the Gaza health ministry. Among the deceased are at least 20 children, with reports indicating that more victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to rescue crews.

Ismail Al-Thawabta, the director of the government media office, confirmed the death toll and described the chaos following the attack, with civilians attempting to recover bodies from the wreckage. Witnesses reported that the bombing occurred without prior warning, leading to widespread devastation among families living in the building.

The ongoing conflict has left around 100,000 people stranded in Jabalia, Beit Lahiya, and Beit Hanoun without access to medical or food supplies, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. The Gaza health ministry warned that wounded individuals are unable to receive necessary medical care due to the evacuation of nearby hospitals.

This airstrike is part of a broader Israeli military campaign in Gaza, which has reportedly resulted in over 43,000 deaths since the beginning of hostilities. The conflict has escalated tensions throughout the region, with Israel also targeting areas in Lebanon to counter Hezbollah, an ally of Hamas.
