A tragic murder took place in tehsil Daska, district Sialkot, where a 30-year-old woman was killed by her mother-in-law and sister-in-law over a domestic dispute. Zara Bibi, who had been married to Qadeer Ahmed for four years, was living with her in-laws while her husband worked abroad. After Zara went missing, her father, Shabbir Ahmed, reported her disappearance to the police. Upon investigation, it was revealed that Zara had been tortured by her in-laws and eventually murdered.

The investigation disclosed that Zara’s mother-in-law, Sughran Naseer, and her sister-in-law, Yasmeen, along with a relative named Naveed, were responsible for the crime. The woman was suffocated with a pillow, dismembered, and her body parts were disposed of in a drain. Authorities managed to arrest the accused after the body was discovered and identified. The suspects confessed during questioning, and the murder weapon, as well as two of Zara’s mobile phones, were recovered.
Zara’s father had initially raised concerns when his daughter’s phone went unanswered. After traveling to her in-laws’ house, he found no trace of her. The investigation ultimately led to the shocking details of the crime, with the motive stemming from financial disputes and personal grievances within the family. Police are continuing their efforts to apprehend all involved in the murder.
