Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) protests since July have resulted in a staggering Rs1.11 billion loss to the national exchequer, along with damages to public and private property amounting to Rs152 million.
Capital police officials revealed that the ongoing protests and public gatherings have kept the police force occupied, costing the government over Rs1.11 billion.

Additionally, the protests have caused extensive damage to properties, including 221 cameras worth Rs151 million and 21 vehicles. The cost of maintaining law and order included Rs247 million for blocking roads with containers and an additional Rs870 million spent on transporting law enforcement personnel.
The protests have also had human costs, with a police officer martyred and 42 others injured, including four Rangers personnel.
Moreover, extraordinary security measures were put in place, causing significant disruption to the daily lives of citizens, particularly affecting workers, students, and patients due to road blockages.
The police force has requested additional personnel and resources for the upcoming November 24 protest, including thousands of police officers, teargas shells, anti-riot kits, and millions in funding for food and transportation.
