Stage actress Nargis has filed a complaint with the FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) against fellow actresses Maryam Hussain and Abida Usmani, accusing them of defaming her. Accompanied by her lawyer, Zain Ali Qureshi, Nargis submitted the complaint at the FIA Crime Wing office. The defamation allegations stem from a viral video in which Abida Usmani claimed that Nargis’s pilgrimage (Hajj) would not be accepted, regardless of how many times she performed it.

In a related incident, Nargis had previously accused her husband, Inspector Maajid Bashir, of domestic violence. The dispute, reportedly over financial issues, led to Nargis suffering severe beatings, though she did not file a formal complaint. Her brother, Khurram, reported the incident, calling for action against Bashir, who denied the allegations, stating they were part of a personal dispute.
In a television interview, Nargis revealed that her husband was allegedly involved with Maryam Hussain, adding further complexity to the ongoing issues.
