In this horrific incident, the suspect also severely injured his sister-in-law and two young nieces, who were immediately rushed to the hospital. According to hospital officials, the condition of two victims remains critical, leaving the family consumed by grief and shock.

The police revealed that the accused, Faizan, was a drug addict recently released from jail. He had a history of violence, including previously injuring one of his brothers by firing a gun. However, this time his addiction-fueled anger caused unimaginable destruction to his family. The police arrested Faizan at the crime scene, seized the murder weapon, and launched an investigation into the case.

This heartbreaking event mirrors a similar case in Punjab last year. A drug addict locked his wife and children in a bedroom, set the room on fire, and fled the scene. Neighbors, alerted by the family’s screams, broke down the door and rescued them. Although their lives were saved, the fire destroyed all their belongings.
Muhammad Abdul Latif, the father of one victim, revealed that his 40-year-old daughter Naseem Bibi was married to Ibrahim, a heroin addict. Ibrahim often demanded money from her to fund his addiction. When she refused, he resorted to violence, inflicting emotional and physical harm on his family.
