In a world where showbiz friendships are often fleeting, actor Momal Sheikh has revealed her deep bond with Mahira Khan, calling her “my closest friend” during a recent appearance on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast.
“We hang out all the time, even if we don’t post photos for everyone to see,” Momal shared. She described their connection as one of genuine closeness, noting, “Whenever we meet, it feels like we are long-lost friends. Her friendship is completely separate from the industry.”

Momal also addressed past controversies, including being labeled as calling her family “the Kapoors of Pakistan.” She clarified, “I never said that. People misinterpret snippets without context.”
Despite her famous lineage, Momal emphasized that her career in acting has been self-made, stating, “My father, Javed Sheikh, never made a single phone call to help my career.”
Reflecting on her childhood and her parents’ separation, Momal expressed gratitude for her father, saying, “I would never blame Baba. Life’s hurdles are from Allah, and you have to look ahead for a better future.”
