Indian film star Saif Ali Khan sustained a back injury after an intruder broke into his Bandra, Mumbai residence in the early hours of Thursday.
According to Indian media, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. while Saif was asleep with his wife, Kareena Kapoor, and their two children. The intruder entered the home, confronted the actor, and stabbed him before fleeing the scene following resistance from Khan.

Police have launched an investigation, with multiple teams working to locate the suspect. Authorities are also determining whether Khan was directly stabbed or injured during a struggle with the assailant.
The “Race” actor was rushed to a private hospital in Bandra, where he received treatment for multiple injuries, including two deep wounds. Surgeons revealed that one of the injuries was close to the spinal cord. While more details will be shared post-surgery, doctors confirmed that there was no spinal damage.
Reports from the hospital indicated that a piece of a sharp weapon was found in Khan’s body. The medical team is closely monitoring his condition. During this challenging time, his wife and family members are by his side at the hospital.
Saif Ali Khan, son of former Indian cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including a National Film Award and seven Filmfare Awards. He began his acting journey with Parampara in the early 1990s and has appeared in several notable projects, including the Netflix series Sacred Games.
