In a noteworthy operation supervised by the Excise Peshawar Region, a significant success was achieved, as reported by the Excise spokesperson.

An attempt to smuggle ice worth millions was thwarted, preventing illegal activities, according to the Excise spokesperson.

During a targeted search operation at the Excise Check Post, authorities seized 40,000 grams (40 kilograms) of internationally graded ice, adding to the success of the operation, as announced by the Excise spokesperson.

Initial investigations revealed that the seized ice was being smuggled from Afghanistan to Peshawar, forming a part of an international smuggling network, as shared by the Excise spokesperson.

The confiscated ice was destined for smuggling to Peshawar and other cities within the country, as well as internationally, highlighting the broader implications of the intercepted operation, the spokesperson noted.

The suspect driver, Abdullah, was promptly apprehended at the scene. A case has been registered for further investigation at the Excise Police Station Peshawar Region, ensuring legal actions are taken, the Excise spokesperson reported.
