Alkhidmat Foundation Wins 'Height Rescue Challenge'

During the 12th National Rescue Challenge organized by Rescue 1122, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan achieved the top position in the ‘Height Rescue Challenge’ category.

Nineteen rescue teams from various regions, including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and representatives from the police, NGOs, and universities, participated in the competition.

The event also saw international delegations from Turkey, Palestine, Oman, and Sri Lanka during the closing ceremony. The Alkhidmat Foundation’s 18-member team showcased their skills in various rescue categories, demonstrating their expertise in height rescue, deep well rescue, water rescue, swimming, trauma, and medical emergencies.

Emergency Services Punjab expressed gratitude to the Alkhidmat team and highlighted the competition’s goal of enhancing emergency cooperation and establishing uniform standards for responses.

Such competitions play a vital role in improving the professional skills of rescuers and their ability to effectively respond to emergencies and disasters. Alkhidmat’s Vice President, Syed Ihsanullah Waqas, commended the organization’s Disaster Management Program and recognized the frontline role of Alkhidmat’s rescuers and volunteers in aiding distressed individuals during emergencies and accidents in Pakistan.
