Army Chief Pledges Strong Support for Government's Economic Initiatives

In a special session of the Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), strategic partnerships with friendly countries were discussed and approved today.

Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar chaired the meeting, which included the participation of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, ministers, and high-level government officials.

The committee assessed the current level of collaboration and gave unanimous approval to various initiatives that will be proposed to friendly countries. The committee also directed the expedited implementation of projects envisioned under these initiatives.

The Prime Minister commended the efforts of the concerned ministries in identifying potential areas of collaboration and urged all stakeholders to work towards realizing long-term economic benefits.

The Chief of Army Staff affirmed the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Army to support economic initiatives undertaken by the Government of Pakistan.
