Babar Azam Displays Fitness at Army Training Camp

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has recently shared a captivating video on their social media platforms, offering a glimpse into the rigorous training regimen of the national team ahead of the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies. The footage features white-ball captain Babar Azam undergoing intensive training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) in Kakul.

The video commences with Babar donning the iconic bucket hat, joined by his fellow teammates, as they embark on a series of exercises under the guidance of ASPT trainers. The focus shifts to Babar’s physical test, which serves as a benchmark for other cricketers.

Wicket-keeper batter Azam Khan and others are seen successfully completing the test, with Babar displaying camaraderie by lifting and celebrating with teammate Mohammad Haris during the challenge. Hasan Ali’s playful antics add a touch of humor to the proceedings, as he jokingly slaps Haris while Babar holds him.

Though Babar’s throw may not match Azam’s in terms of power, he compensates with an impressive display of push-ups. The test concludes with Babar rolling on multiple mattresses before jubilantly kicking a nearby traffic cone, symbolizing the completion of his rigorous training.

The video provides fans with an exciting glimpse into the dedication and determination of the Pakistani cricket team as they prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
