Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd (PSMCL) has prolonged the shutdown of its automobile and motorbike manufacturing plants until July 19.
This decision was made due to a continuing lack of parts and accessories. On Friday, the company issued a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange informing them of the extension.

The plants were first shut down from 22 June to 8 July. However, PSMCL announced on June 27 that the shutdown would be prolonged until July 15. Due to the ongoing shortfall, they have decided to extend the shutdown until July 19th.
In a similar vein, Sitara Peroxide Ltd (SPL), a chemical business, has announced the cessation of its production activities.
SPL will temporarily cease manufacturing with immediate effect. The relocation is due to a lack of raw materials and chemicals essential for their operations.
