Belarusian President Arrives in Pakistan to Enhance Trade and Diplomatic Relations

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is set to arrive in Islamabad today for an official visit, lasting until November 27. During his stay, President Lukashenko will hold extensive talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to strengthen bilateral relations, focusing on trade, industry, and technology.

Several agreements and memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed, further enhancing the partnership between the two nations. The visit follows an invitation from Prime Minister Sharif, highlighting the significance of this high-level diplomatic engagement.

Accompanying President Lukashenko is a Belarusian ministerial delegation led by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzenko, already in Islamabad.

The delegation, which includes ministers from sectors such as energy, industry, and communications, aims to broaden the scope of cooperation between the countries. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi welcomed the delegation, emphasizing Pakistan’s eagerness to engage with Belarusian leadership.
