On Tuesday, the price of gold in Pakistan experienced a slight decline, marking the first decrease in ten consecutive days. The price settled at Rs. 230,100 per tola, reflecting a decrease of Rs. 100 compared to the previous day’s price. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 86 to Rs. 197,274.
Although the price remained unchanged the day before, it had surged nearly Rs. 10,000 per tola over the course of the previous week, primarily driven by an increase in international gold prices.
In the global market, spot gold witnessed a decline of 0.2 percent to $2,178.53 per ounce as of 0424 GMT, while US gold futures also fell by 0.2 percent to $2,185.00.
