Gold prices rose in Pakistan on Wednesday, reflecting a global increase, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs600 to reach Rs241,900, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs514 to Rs207,390.

The international rate was reported at $2,313 per ounce, marking a $6 gain for the day. Spot gold is currently trading slightly above $2,300 per ounce, showing a year-to-date increase of about 12% and nearing the record high it reached last month by approximately 6%.
