Pakistan Railways has announced a 10% reduction in fares for all AC and economy classes, effective September 23. This fare cut applies to express and mail trains nationwide, aimed at offering relief to passengers amid rising travel expenses.

The reduction follows a recent decrease in fuel prices. The federal government lowered the price of petrol by Rs. 10 per liter, from Rs. 259.10 to Rs. 249.10.
