CAA Clarifies The Situation Regarding The Sale Of Karachi Airport

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued a statement to dismiss recent online rumors about the sale of Jinnah International Airport in Karachi as entirely baseless.

The statement affirmed that the Karachi Airport continues to be managed by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA).

“We urge the public to rely on official sources for accurate information and refrain from spreading unverified claims,” the statement emphasized.

Earlier, a two-member team arrived in Karachi to assess security arrangements for direct flights between Pakistan and the UAE. Led by Senior Director of Security Affairs Abdullah Al Kaabi from the General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE, the team will conduct inspections of aviation security protocols at Karachi Airport over the next four days.

The focus of the Emirati team will be on flight security measures. The CAA Director of Aviation Security extended a warm welcome to the Emirati delegation.

The airport manager and other relevant stakeholders participated in the inaugural meeting held at Karachi Airport.
