Cabinet Greenlights Regularization of 220+ Daily Wage Teachers

The federal cabinet has given approval for the regularization of 227 daily wage teachers serving in schools and colleges under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) for the past decade.

This decision follows a summary presented by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, requesting regularization for employees who have successfully cleared the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) test for grade-16 and grade-17 positions.

Of the approximately 300 daily wage teachers who took the FPSC exam, around 60 did not qualify. Caretaker Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi stated that the Ministry of Finance has approved the posts, and the regularization process will be completed soon. Emphasizing a commitment to promptly addressing educational issues, Sindhi highlighted the importance of taking care of teachers and students, recognizing them as the future of the nation.

During the cabinet meeting chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, tributes were paid to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the security of the polio team in Bajaur.

The cabinet condemned the terrorist attack on police officials and offered prayers for the departed souls. The caretaker prime minister emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs, who gave their today for our tomorrow, will never be forgotten by the state.
