Clash at Punjab University Results in Injuries to Nine Students

A clash erupted between two rival groups at Punjab University’s new campus, resulting in at least nine students being injured. The altercation began as an argument and escalated when a dozen students from the student union allegedly attacked others with sticks and stones.

The injured students were taken to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment. Police have registered a case, and legal action is underway against those responsible. Violent confrontations between different student groups, particularly between Islami Jamiat Tulba (IJT) and Baloch, Seraiki, and Pukhtun activists, have been recurring issues at Punjab University.
