Colin Munro’s Touching Moment with Ball Boy

Colin Munro's Touching Moment with Ball Boy

In a heartwarming moment during the match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi in the ongoing PSL Season 9 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Islamabad’s opening batter, Colin Munro, shared a delightful celebration with a ball-boy. The scene unfolded in the last over of the match when the ball-boy managed to grasp a stunning catch just as the ball seemed destined to sail over the rope for a six.

Interestingly, the same young enthusiast had previously missed a catch, feeling disheartened by his initial attempt. However, Munro, displaying exemplary sportsmanship, took it upon himself to mentor the kid. While positioned at the fielding hot spots outside the circle, Munro coached the ball-boy on the technique of securing a catch in his palms when the ball approached him next.

Fortune smiled upon the young lad as he seized the opportunity with both hands during the crucial moment in the last over. With the catch successfully taken, jubilation ensued as the pupil executed the technique taught by his mentor, Munro.

The heartening incident added an extra layer of joy to Islamabad United’s victory over Peshawar Zalmi, with the former emerging triumphant by 29 runs on the night. With this win, Islamabad United ascended to 3rd place on the table, amassing a total of 7 points in the ongoing tournament.
