ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – In the Toshakhana case, former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chief Imran Khan was condemned to three years in prison and barred from running for five years. He was also fined one million Pakistani rupees.

The significant judgement was delivered by Islamabad District and Sessions Court judge Humayun Dilawar, who stated that a criminal case had been proven against the former PM and sentenced him to three years in prison.
The court denied the PTI chief’s petition against the lawsuit being declared maintainable.
Previously, a verdict had been reserved against Imran Khan due to his non-appearance.
