In Lahore, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz has declared assets valued at over Rs842.58 million, according to a recent report by Geo News.

In her nomination papers for the NA-119 constituency, Maryam disclosed ownership of more than 1500 kanal of land in Lahore. The documents further reveal a marginal increase of just over Rs4 million in her assets within a year.

Maryam Nawaz, listed as the PML-N chief organiser, holds a Master’s degree in English Literature and does not own any vehicles. However, she has a debt of over Rs28.9 million to her brother, Hassan Nawaz.

In her financial disclosures, Maryam noted possessing gold worth Rs1.75 million and holding over Rs10 million in various bank accounts. Additionally, she stated ownership of shares valued at Rs12.2 million in various companies.

Maryam Nawaz’s nomination papers from multiple constituencies in Lahore and Sargodha were approved by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on December 30. A spokesperson for Maryam clarified that while her papers were approved for several constituencies, the decision on the specific constituencies she would contest in the general elections would be determined by the party.

The scion of the Sharif family submitted nomination papers for two National Assembly constituencies, NA-119 and NA-120, and four Punjab Assembly constituencies, PP-159, PP-160, PP-165, and PP-80. The details provide a comprehensive overview of Maryam Nawaz’s financial and asset profile as she gears up for political participation in the upcoming elections.
