Five Pakistani Citizens Beheaded in Saudi Arabia

According to Gulf News, five Pakistani nationals have been executed in Saudi Arabia for their involvement in raiding a company and murdering a Bangladeshi guard.

The Saudi Interior Ministry released a statement revealing that the five individuals had tied up two guards at the private company and physically assaulted them, resulting in the death of one of the guards.

After a thorough investigation, the Pakistani nationals were brought before a competent court where they were found guilty and subsequently sentenced to death.

The executed individuals were identified as Arshad Ali, Muhammad Ismail, Abdul Majeed, Haji Noor-ud-din, and Abdul Ghaffar.

Following confirmation of the verdict by the appeals and supreme courts, and its final approval by a royal decree, the executions were carried out on Tuesday in the city of Mecca.

Saudi Arabia is known for its stringent laws against crimes such as murder, terror attacks, and drug smuggling, often resulting in severe punishments including the death penalty.

Earlier this year in January, four Ethiopian expatriates were executed after being convicted of murdering a Sudanese national.

Similarly, in December last year, two Bangladeshi expatriates were executed after being found guilty in a final court ruling of murdering an Indian man as a result of a financial dispute, by spraying an insecticide into his mouth.
