Gold Prices in Pakistan Surge by Rs. 1,500 per Tola

On Thursday, the cost of gold in Pakistan surged by Rs. 1,500 per tola, closing at Rs. 213,300. Data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA) revealed that the price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs. 1,500 per tola, reaching Rs. 213,300, while the price for 10 grams rose by Rs. 1,179 to reach Rs. 182,870.

This followed a decrease of Rs. 1,200 per tola in gold prices on Wednesday, which had previously increased by Rs. 900 per tola on Tuesday.

At 4:25 PM (Pakistan Standard Time), international gold rates were recorded at $1,986, marking a 0.23 percent increase compared to the previous day. This uptick is attributed to the decision by the US Federal Reserve to maintain unchanged interest rates until the next market review, as reported by international media.
