This increase follows two consecutive days of minor declines, with gold falling by Rs. 750 per tola the day before and Rs. 400 on the day before that.

The price had increased by Rs. 1,250 per tola on Monday. Overall, the price of gold has risen by Rs. 3,000 per tola during the current week.

The local gold price is closely tied to the international market and the exchange rate between the rupee and the dollar. Recent fluctuations in the exchange rate, combined with rising international gold prices, have contributed to the local price increase.
