Haris Rauf, Pakistan’s fast bowler, has been nominated as the goodwill ambassador of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Parliamentary Task Force, raising his reputation both on and off the pitch.

“I am pleased to announce him [Haris Rauf] today as the goodwill ambassador of the SDGs Parliamentary Task Force,” Durrani stated during the session.

Durrani and Romina Khurshid, the Convener of the SDGs Parliamentary Task Force, welcomed the 29-year-old after the session. In acknowledgment of his new role, Haris was given a shield to mark the occasion.

This latest appointment adds to Haris’s list of honours during the last year. Earlier this year, the Islamabad police bestowed upon him the honorary status of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), further cementing his standing in the country.
