The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched a nationwide photography contest, offering prize money of up to Rs. 100,000. The contest is open to photographers of all skill levels, with no age restrictions.
The theme of the photography contest centers around ‘CPEC projects and their profound impact on the economy, infrastructure, and environment in Pakistan.’ Participants are encouraged to capture the best CPEC projects across the country.

There will be a total of 10 prizes awarded to participants. The first prize winner will receive Rs. 100,000, while three participants will each receive a second prize of Rs. 80,000. Additionally, six photographers will be awarded a third prize of Rs. 50,000 each.
To enter the contest, participants should email their photos in JPG format to photo.contest@pakistan-china.com. The email submission should also include a scanned copy of the participant’s CNIC or passport and contact details. Each photograph should be clearly labeled with the photographer’s name and email address, and the subject line of the email should read “My Photo.”
The deadline for photo submissions is October 9, 2023. This contest provides an opportunity for photographers to showcase their skills and creativity while highlighting the impact of CPEC projects in Pakistan.
