Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has strongly criticized the “complete collapse of the justice system” in Pakistan, alleging that Nawaz Sharif’s return to the country is part of a London “agreement.” In a statement issued on October 24 and posted on Imran Khan’s official social media account, the former prime minister expressed concern about the current state of the law, calling it a “total mockery of the law.”
Imran Khan suggested that Nawaz Sharif’s return was made possible by a London “agreement” signed between a “cowardly fugitive” and “corrupt criminal” along with their facilitators. He lamented the leniency and protective bail given to the PML-N leader, stating that the only way a convicted criminal can return to politics with a clean slate is by undermining state institutions. According to Imran Khan, this situation reflects the complete breakdown of Pakistan’s justice system.

Imran Khan also addressed the cases against him, asserting that they are entirely baseless, politically motivated, and concocted to keep him in jail, possibly even beyond the elections. He mentioned the growing political awareness and resistance within the nation against what he referred to as “closed-room conspiracies.”
While sharing his health status, Imran Khan claimed to be physically fit and mentioned his concerns about potential poisoning attempts in jail. Despite these challenges, he urged the people to continue their struggle, and he revealed that the party leadership had been advised to start campaigning for elections.
