Islamabad is apparently preparing to welcome high-level foreign delegates on July 31st and August 1st, 2023. Authorities are considering declaring these two days as local holidays in order to ensure a smooth and successful event.
This decision strives to ensure that the dignitaries’ visit runs smoothly and securely. According to sources, high-level Chinese diplomats will visit Pakistan’s capital city on July 31st and August 1st.

Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital city, is no stranger to welcoming dignitaries and foreign authorities.
The central government had previously declared two public holidays for Ashura on July 28 and 29. According to a letter that has been circulated in several WhatsApp groups and a copy of which is accessible to ProPakistani, the ICT Chief Commissioner’s Office has requested that the Interior Ministry proclaim Monday and Tuesday as local holidays in Islamabad.
It is worth noting that the Interior Ministry has yet to release a notification for vacations in Islamabad.
