Rising Indian actress Noor Malabika Das tragically took her own life in her Mumbai apartment.

Reports from Indian media indicate that she was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series ‘The Trial’ alongside Kajol. On June 6, Noor ended her life, but the incident came to light four days later when neighbors reported a foul smell emanating from her flat.

Police responded to the complaints and discovered Noor’s body hanging from the ceiling fan. Her body was subsequently sent to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The 32-year-old actress, who hailed from Assam, had been living in the rented apartment in Mumbai. Prior to her acting career, she worked as an air hostess with Qatar Airways. Despite her rising career, none of her family members were present for her last rites. Her family had been living with her until May before returning to their village days before the incident.

Police have spoken with Noor’s family members and are continuing their investigation into her death. Noor Malabika Das had appeared in several films and web series, including ‘Siskiyaan,’ ‘Walkman,’ ‘Teekhi Chutney,’ ‘Jaghanya Apradh,’ ‘Charmsukh,’ ‘Dekhi Andekhi,’ and ‘Backroad Hustle.’
