Influencer criticized for alleged rape and misogyny: Andrew Tate

In a heated interview , Andrew Tate denied encouraging sexism and defended his reputation.

He denied the charges made against him, including specific claims of rape, human trafficking, and exploiting women for which he is under investigation by Romanian authorities.

The influencer responded that he was a “force for good” and that he was “acting under the instruction of God to do good things” when questioned about if his controversial views on women were harmful to young people. Since being released from police detention in Romania in April, this was Mr. Tate’s first television interview with a major network.

Although Mr. Tate has a sizable internet following and has frequently voiced his disdain for traditional media, his opinions have never been directly challenged before this interview.

Additionally, he called another lady who had earlier this year had an anonymous interview with as “imaginary” and claimed that had created her.

The lady in issue told  Radio 4’s File on Four that she accompanied Mr. Tate to Romania believing he was in love with her. She was given the alias Sophie to conceal her identity.

Tate’s ex-girlfriend claims he was aggressive and controlling.

When asked about Sophie’s evidence, Mr. Tate told: “By speaking to you, I’m doing you the benefit of giving legacy media importance. And I’m telling you right now about this Sophie, who was created  and has no face. She is unknown to anyone. I know.”
