Reports from local media and vigilant fans who have spotted posters in cinemas indicate that the ultimate episode of the television drama series “Ishq Murshid” is set to debut in theaters on Friday, May 3. Following its theatrical release, the show is slated to air on television and online platforms two days later.

Helmed by director Farooq Rind, the drama made its television debut in October 2023, featuring Bilal Abbas Khan as Fazal Bakhsh/Shahmeer Sikandar and Durefishan Saleem as Shibra Suleman. “Ishq Murshid” chronicles the journey of a politician’s son who falls in love with a woman who despises the corrupt political system. To win her heart, he assumes the guise of an ordinary man.
