Pakistani judge Humayun Dilawar, who presided over the corruption case against former Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan, has traveled to London. This comes shortly after he found Imran Khan guilty and sentenced him to three years in prison, a verdict with significant implications for the former prime minister’s political future.
According to media reports, Judge Humayun Dilawar’s visit to Britain is for attending a judicial conference at the University of Hull and receiving training. He will be participating in the ‘Judicial Training on Human Rights and the Rule of Law’ from August 5 to August 13.

The training opportunity was nominated by IHC top judge Justice Aamer Farooq and is funded by the Commonwealth Secretariat, London.
Critics have raised concerns about the expedited procedure, pointing to his controversial social media posts.
