Khadijah Shah Returns with Zeal, Passion, and Creativity

Fashion designer and supporter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Khadija Shah, has returned to her professional duties after several months of detainment. The anti-terrorism court in Quetta granted her bail last month in connection to the May 9 riots, which erupted following the arrest of PTI founder Imran Khan on corruption charges. Shah surrendered herself to Punjab police in Lahore on May 23, 2023, and had been held in custody for months over allegations of her involvement in the violent protests.

In an Instagram post, Shah announced her formal return to work with a poster stating, “Our creative Director Khadijah Shah is back: Elan Reignites.” She expressed gratitude to her Pakistani followers for their unwavering support during her ordeal, attributing her release to the power of collective prayers.
