Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has announced that he has quit smoking, sharing the news during the trailer launch of his son Junaid Khan’s debut film, Loveyapa, in Mumbai.
At the event, Aamir reflected on his long-standing habit, saying, “I have been smoking for years, even though I know it’s harmful. It’s something I enjoyed, but I’ve decided to quit.” Encouraging others, he added, “This is not a good habit. If I can quit, so can you.”
The decision, Aamir revealed, is tied to his son’s new journey in the film industry. “As Junaid’s career begins, I felt it was the right moment to make this change as a father and a role model.”
