Police in Chhattisgarh have apprehended a suspect linked to the January 16 attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Identified as Sandesh, the suspect was detained by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Durg after a tip-off. He is being transported to Mumbai for further investigation.

Authorities have questioned around 50 individuals so far, with 35 teams dedicating over 60 hours to the case. CCTV footage reportedly helped identify the suspect, leading to his arrest.
Saif Ali Khan, recovering from surgery, remains in hospital but is expected to be discharged in two days. Doctors have recommended two weeks of rest for the actor.
