In a heartfelt appearance on Faysal Quraishi’s podcast, actor Asad Siddiqui opened up about his romantic journey with his wife, Zara Noor Abbas. Asad reminisced about first hearing Zara’s name years ago through her aunt, the renowned actress Bushra Ansari. “When I did my first dramas, Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat and Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat, Zara was mentioned in passing. I had never seen her or a picture of her, but Bushra Apa would mention her,” he recalled fondly.
Though they never met initially, Asad explained that their paths eventually crossed six or seven years later while working together again. Their friendship blossomed through mutual friends like Sajal Ali, Yasir Hussain, and Asim Azhar. “Coincidentally, Zara was in town for work, and she was friends with Sajal. So, I went to meet up with them and we became friends,” he shared. This camaraderie laid the foundation for their romantic relationship.

Asad’s life took a significant turn after marrying Zara and welcoming their daughter, Noor e Jahan, in March. He candidly discussed the changes that come with marriage and parenthood, emphasizing the importance of communication in their relationship. “After marriage, you can’t be out of the house at all times. You should let your spouse know when you’re going to be home,” he said, acknowledging the challenges of balancing family life with a demanding career.
Reflecting on the realities of parenthood, Asad expressed admiration for Zara’s dedication as a mother. “I try to stay up with the baby as much as I can, but there are times where I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and see Zara already awake, walking around or feeding the baby. I’m always shocked by how a mother’s life is never her own after a baby. Everything revolves around the child,” he noted, highlighting the sacrifices and love that come with raising a family together.
