Bollywood Director Sanjay Gadhvi Passes Away

Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Gadhvi has reportedly passed away due to a heart attack on Sunday morning, as reported by Indian media, citing family and sources. Sanjay Gadhvi, known for directing the popular film “Dhoom,” was described as perfectly healthy before the sudden incident.

According to statements from Sanjay’s daughter, Sanjina, he passed away at 9:30 am at his residence. The family suspects that it was likely a heart attack. Reports indicate that Sanjay experienced chest pain during his morning walk, leading to his prompt transportation to the hospital, where he was subsequently declared dead.

In response to the news, actor Hrithik Roshan, who worked with Gadhvi in the film “Dhoom,” expressed his deep sadness and paid a heartfelt tribute on X (formerly Twitter). Roshan acknowledged Gadhvi’s instrumental role in bringing out a particular character in him, stating, “He was instrumental in bringing out the Aryan in me. Couldn’t have done it without him. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.”

Sanjay Gadhvi’s passing marks a loss in the Bollywood industry, and condolences and tributes from the entertainment community are likely to follow in the coming days.
